Basement Bash Vol. XV with Black Pope, Soda Can and Joe James Boyle
Basement Bash is back and is opening this brand new year with a strong 15th edition! The monthly concert series invited the band Black Pope as a headliner, supported by Soda Can and Joe James Boyle. Those brilliant artists will perform on Friday, January 18th, at Urban Spree, and we are giving away 1×2 tickets on the guest list for Basement Bash Vol. XV!
As its name might suggest, Black Pope is a dark and mysterious band. The band likes to insist on “mysterious” and declares that “like any of life’s great pleasures, Black Pope needs to be experienced to be truly understood”. Check out their video “One Shot Kill” below to make up your own idea!
Soda Can is a Garage Hard Rock band coming from Argentina. They are highly influenced by The Stooges and Led Zeppelin, and like mixing loud guitars and sarcastic lyrics about facing your fears. Have a look at their music video “A Conversation With Sexism & Sexuality”.
Joe James Boyle
Joe James Boyle was born in London and is now established in Berlin. He finds his inspiration in Jimi Hendrix and Ty Segall. Joe James Boyle describes his songs as stories of outsiders set to a wild rock’n’roll soundtrack, as you can see in “Berlin Undressing”.
