Basement Bash Vol. XVI with Surfbort, Gringo Star and Askers Dodge
Our dear concert series Basement Bash is back this month with an electrifying line up. They invited the bands Surfbort, Gringo Star and Askers Dodge to perform on Tuesday, February 26th, at Urban Spree. Don’t miss it! We are giving away 1×2 tickets on the guest list for the show.
Surfbort is a band coming from Brooklyn, New York, largely inspired by the 80’s punk scene with its explosive music. They radiate love and friendship, as you can see in their video “Les Be in love” below. Cool fact, the Black Keys picked them to open for their 2018 tour and Julian Casablancas (from The Strokes) signed them to his label, Cult Records.
Gringo Star is an indie rock band formed in Atlanta, Georgia. They released their 5th album “Back to the City” last year via Nevado Music, an L.A. based label (Deap Valley, Eternal Summers). Relax to the sound of “Easy”, the first single of Gringo Star’s latest album.
Askers Dodge is an international band now based in Berlin. They find their inspiration in Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age and Black Sabbath. We recently wrote about their new single release “Be Mine”. Have a look at the music video:
